This garden will be a prototype for the other sound gardens in the Tampa Bay area. Our goal is to create similiar Sound Gardens in facilities for convalescence and healing such as All Childrens Hospital, Bayfront Hospital, Hospice, nursing homes and city parks. We envision that other cities around the country will be motivated to start creating sound gardens in their own communities.

The IASBH is collaborating with the ceramic department at Eckerd College. Ceramics professor and musician Brian Ransom and his students from the school are creating ambient and interactive instruments for our garden. We anticipate working with other local organizations and artist as well as the project evolves and expands.

The sound Garden is a great place for drum circles, school field trips, poetry jams or just relaxing with a cup of tea. Come hear and feel the experience for yourself!
